Simonetta d’Italia Wiener
In 2019, Simonetta — who has a Doctor of Law degree from the University of MIlan — directed and produced the award-winning documentary, Unguarded, which chronicles the work of APAC (Association for the Protection and Assistance of Convicts), a network of reform prisons in Brazil. APAC is renowned for its revolutionary method of recovery and rehabilitation. Simonetta is currently the Coordinator for AVSI’s Restorative Freedom Initiative, which seeks to implement the APAC methodology in American transitional houses — such as those opened by Living With Convictions.
Bishop Mark Bartosic
In 1994, Mark Bartosic was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chicago by Cardinal Joseph Bernardin at Holy Name Cathedral. In 2016, Fr Bartosic was named Director of Kolbe House Jail Ministry in Chicago, as well as Pastor of Assumption BVM Parish. Pope Francis appointed Fr. Bartosic Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago on July 3, 2018. He was consecrated at Holy Name Cathedral on September 17, 2018, by Cardinal Blase Cupich, and currently serves as Episcopal Vicar of Vicariate II of the Archdiocese.
Apolonio Latar III
Apolonio is the Dean of Curriculum at St. Paul VI Catholic High School and is currently an adjunct professor at St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry. He has an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Marymount University and also has degrees in Philosophy (Rutgers University) and Theology (Lateran University).
Flannery McGale
Flannery graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Global Affairs and a minor in Philosophy. She brings to Living With Convictions her extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked for nonprofit entities at the United Nations and in Ireland.
